Going Back to Cali! Part One…

Wow how time flies… one year ago today we were shooting in California…what a beautiful and diverse state! I visited several times as a child, but this was the first time shooting there. We had a 10 day trip covered 1,563 miles and shot 14,867 photos between the 4 of us (mother in law and father both shoot stock photos with us!) It was as all our stock photo trips are “AWESOME”


Driving about 60 on the highway…catching glimpses of what I think are cherry trees?

Brooklyns’ first snow!!!


Yosemite National Park…after shooting here with only 2 cameras and only carying what I needed at that exact moment to shoot…I have great respect for Ansel Adams (not that I did not before) but now I know just how difficult it must have been for him to get around! The snow was fun, but man am I glad we get to live in Hawaii and do 90% of our shoots in warm weather!

The 3rd Birthday Photo

There comes a point in ones life where you sometimes think…gosh remember when I could do… Well we had one of those moments and to prove to ourselves we STILL could, we risked it all!

…we’re not so old after all! cheerleading stunt?…yes for those of you who didn’t already know that is originally how we ended up in Hawaii… and so it is we CAN still do something we used to do!!!!

Starfish Fun!

Another great wedding at Lanikuhonua. Dave and Vic were great, they went on as if we werent’ even there and really let us shoot what we wanted with no real “must have” shots! Hononlulu Wedding Consultants handled coordination and Indigo provided yummy food to fill everyone’s tummy! Diane from DK Designs created these cute little tags for their “seating chart” which comprised of a table full of starfish with tags that said something personal about each guest- they had to find their name/table from the quote…the guest’s loved it! Later the guests were suprised with a private Luau- Thanks guys for choosing us, it was fun!

Angel
